Castles and Coasters

Castles and Coasters is probably your best option if your looking to go to an amusement park in Arizona. They have a ton of rides for every style from coasters to bumper cars. It's a little expensive, but if your looking for a place with plenty of things to do it's hard to beat. If you and your date aren't big on roller coasters there are still plenty of other rides. The arcade is huge! It's a pretty classic amusement park with all the bells and whistles. One of the main attractions is their double loop roller coaster, which is what their kinda known for. They also have a smaller coaster called the patriot. Look at their site for all their rides and directions.

Hale Theatre

Hale Theatre is a pretty classy place to bring a date. They've been around for years and always have a great show. You can even reserve exactly what seats you want on the seating chart. It's an arena stage so your very close to the actors. When I went we were in the front row right by one of the entrances and some of the actors brushed me when they were running by. They have amazing acting and you can get up close to see it. There's a water tower just across the street with some places to sit down after the play. Again it's a classy date that should turn out to be memorable.

Stratum Laser Tag

Stratum Laser Tag is an absolute amazing place if your looking for an action packed date. However it can be very expensive if you are planning on spending a whole evening there. The good news is often times they have specials, so go to their website to find the special that we'll work for you. I suggest the three games for ten bucks on monday if you get the coupon off the site. It looks like the best deal and makes the date pretty affordable. Then you can go back to a house to get some ice cream, kick back, and play some games.

Polar Ice

Polar Ice is a memorable date. If you don't know how to ice skate you may want to go before hand and learn so you don't have to go through the learning curve while your on the date because there's a good chance you'll fall a few times. If falling in front of your date is embarrassing to you learn how to ice skate first, if not just go, learn, and maybe your date could help you stay on your feet in the beginning, Going ice skating is one of the few dates that is classic yet still somewhat original. If your date hasn't been ice skating before they'll probably always remember it. Not to mention it's just a blast skating around aimlessly.

Usery Mountain

Usery Mountain is an incredible place to go on a date because it's so beautiful. There is nothing quite like being outdoors, getting some fresh air, and more importantly watching the sun go down at the top of the mountain. Bring a bench cushion, picnic basket, and a flashlight for the walk back down. It's great. It'll take a while to get up the mountain and will be a lot of walking so make sure that you can talk to your date for an extended period of time and keep the conversation going. You don't need to talk every minute, but a little conversation would probably be a good thing. It's an active date that can be made romantic.

Golfland Sunsplash

Golfland has a numerous amount of date activities. For starters Golfland has a great goofy golfing course. Often times some of the shots taken will turn out to be out of control and hilarious to watch. The course is very original and is a great way to get to know your date.
Another great activity at Golfland is to go to their arcade. It's housed in a large castle that also serves food. The pizza is very good. Anyways the arcade ranges from top of the line games to classic pinball machines; most of the games are a lot of fun and there's a good variety. Playing with your date provides a little friendly competition, making the date a little bit more exciting.
Two of their other lead attractions are the go-carts and bumper boats. The go-carts are fast and can be an extreme adrenaline boost, while the bumper boats are more laid back.
As if all this isn't enough it's also a water park called Sunsplash. Sunsplash is one of the top water parks in Arizona, containing tube slides, body slides, a lazy river, specialty rides that can be very wild, and a huge wave pool. It's easy to spend a whole afternoon there and still not be ready to leave.
To top it off they have laser tag in the top level of the castle as well. Golfland isn't the place to go for a romantic date, but if your looking to have fun it's hard to beat. Click on the link for the exact location and to learn more.
